Legal Associate
Mr. Sonty Sun is a Legal Associate within the Intellectual Property Department at BNG Legal.
Sonty holds an LLB (Hons) in Law from the University of Worcester in 2021 and an LLM in Professional Legal Practice from the University of Law, Birmingham in the United Kingdom in 2022. Sonty is also a current M2 candidate for the dual LLM in Public International Law from University Paris 8 and the Royal University of Law and Economics.
Prior to joining BNG Legal, Sonty embarked on his legal career in a private law firm in Cambodia, where he began specializing in Intellectual Property. Additionally, Sonty is also an adjunct law lecturer at a private university in Cambodia, currently teaching the Introduction to Public
International Law.
At BNG Legal, Sonty works in the IP Department, and is responsible for trademark filing, registration, and prosecution, in addition to advising clients on patent filing.
Sonty speaks Khmer and English.
