Legal Assistant
Mr. Sopheak SIN is a Legal Assistant in the Intellectual Property & General Practice Group.
Sopheak holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia. He also holds a Diploma of Academic English from the Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia.
At BNG Legal, Sopheak has assisted and advised many local and international client in the Intellectual Property Rights and related matters, specifically in trademark and patent registration, compliance, and legal protection. He works closely with the government officers at DIPR for case progress and online filing.
Prior to joining BNG Legal, Sopheak interned at several law firms and worked with Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia. Sopheak has a good understanding of Intellectual Property Law, and his other areas of practice include Corporate & Investment, Real Estate, Personal Data Protection & Technology Law. Academically, Sopheak participated in the Cambodia Moot Court Competition 2025, co-hosted by Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC) and BELTEI International University. He has also granted scholarships to participate in the Legal Drafting Skills Training Program, Intake 2, offered by the Phnom Penh Union of Cambodian Youth Federations.
Sopheak speaks Khmer and English.
