Mr. Patrick Smith has worked for a Japanese law firm in Japan (Atsumi & Sakai and Hogan Lovells). In addition to providing legal services to Japanese clients, we are able to assist Japanese clients with translations to and from Japanese and several of the advisers on the Japan Desk are fluent in Japanese.

Ms. Keopichchenda Long is a Senior Legal Associate, Trademark Attorney, Head of the Intellectual Property & Technology Practice Group, and member of INTA Anti-counterfeit Committee. She works for BNG Legal from Tokyo City. At BNG Legal, she mainly specializes in all Intellectual Property Rights related matters, compliance, and legal protection for Japanese clients. She also specialized in franchise agreement, license contract and product registration. She has assisted and advised number of Japanese clients like a well-known tobacco company in Cambodia. She also advised and provided a legal advice on technology law for a software company, IT companies and technology transfer for known Japanese. She mainly specializes in Intellectual Property Law and her other area of practice includes Corporate & Investment Law. She is a member of Asian Patent Attorney Association (APAA), International Trademark Association (INTA), Intellectual Property Association of Cambodia (IPAC), International Business Association (IBA) and ASEAN IP Association (ASEAN IPA).
