Mr. Albert ZawMin is a senior council and Founder of Star Trader Law Firm as Reg No. 4/5978 of 1996 dated on 18th December 1996. Mr. Albert is admitted as a Myanmar lawyer and is an ex-member of a professional association namely Legal Consultant Team of Union of Myanmar Federation for Chamber of Commerce and Industry (“UMFCCI”), Joint-Secretary of Intellectual Property Proprietors Association of Myanmar (IPPAM), Chairman of International Relationship and Education Committee under MBA, advisor for Asian ARB ADR Alliance (AAAA).
Mr. Albert holds a bachelor degree in law (LL.B.) from Yangon University and also took other educational qualification of P.M.G (2nd class), GMDSS G.O.C. (U.K), DL-101 & DL-201 (Distinction) and DL-450 (WIPO).
With more than 30 years of legal experience and knowledge, he has worked on various types of investment projects such as maritime and aviation fields, general insurance and reinsures claims, dispute settlement, commercial contract and other various intellectual property rights.
Besides his lawyer work, he has contributed to legal sectors such as appointed as the General Secretary of the Myanmar Bar Association (MBA), Founder and President of the Myanmar International Arbitration Centre (MIAC) which pioneer International Arbitration Centre in Myanmar, assisting the Union and Regional /State Government with drafting numbers of Myanmar regulations.
